Holy Spirit – Gifts of the Spirit with Father John Hampsch. CMF

“Give them something to eat.”

“Give them something to eat.”

On the mountain of Your Holiness,

You commanded,

“You give them something to eat.”

What have I that would feed,

And satisfy so many?

You give to me,

In steady supply.

You are my All.

In You, I believe,

It is You, I adore,

And from You,

I draw my hope,

And loving trust.

You have fulfilled Your promise,

Feeding me with the finest wheat,

The Eucharistic Wheat,

Made Bread, most holy,

Your body and Your Blood.

“Give them something to eat.”

What have I that would feed,

And satisfy so many?

I will give them my Treasure,

My Only Good.

As life flowing from this temple

Flow from me,

To water,

And sup with the humanity all about me.

Father Spitzer’s Universe – 2016-11-16 – What Is The Evidence For The Soul?

Let Me

Let me be the Star that guides.
Let me be the Voice crying in the wilderness.
Let me be the Brother that leads a brother.
Let me be the Mother bidding
“Do whatever He tells you.”

Let me be tears upon Your feet,
Let me be anointing oil
Let me be a cloak that hides your nakedness.
Let me be the prayer of the Blind Bartimaeus:
“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.”

Let me pray with You in the garden
Let me draw a spiritual sword by Your Side.
Let me help you carry Your Cross.
Let me weep with You for the Fallen and the Lost,
Lamenting, “.. you would not be gathered.”

Let me feel with Mother Mary
Let me cry out like the Magdalen.
Let me, like the Centurion, recognize You in Your Dying.
Let me sit beside the Angel at Your Tomb.
“He has risen, He is not here”

CONSECRATING THE LAST 2 HOURS OF YOUR LIFE

CONSECRATING THE LAST 2 HOURS OF YOUR LIFE to the Most Holy Virgin by the late Rev. Fr. Ildefonso M. Izaguirre, O. P.

Prostrated at thy feet, and humiliated by my sins, but full of confidence in thee, O Mary! I beg thee to accept the petition my heart is about to make. It is for my last moments. Dear Mother I wish to request thy protection and maternal love so that in the decisive instant that thou wilt do all thy love can suggest in my behalf.

To thee, O Mother of my soul, I consecrate THE LAST TWO HOURS of my life. Come to my side to receive my last breath and when death has cut the thread of my days, tell Jesus, presenting to Him my soul, “I LOVE IT”. That word alone will be enough to procure for me the benediction of my God and the happiness of seeing thee for all eternity.

I put my trust in thee, my Mother and hope it will not be in vain. O Mary! Pray for thy child and lead him to Jesus! Amen.
