Morning Gratitude

All thanks and gratitude arise to dance before Your throne.
All praise and honor bow with swelling heart to glorify my God.
Make me a vessel overflowing,
A chalice full of grace willing for the good,
Desiring but one All Holy Love.

Subway Mensch – The Kindness of Strangers

Isaac Theil doesn’t know what to make of all the fuss, now that this photo has gone viral.  We are a society hungry for heroes. Sometimes we even manufacture them for their celebrity value.  Here, at last,  is a man who puts a human face on the ordinary, sometimes unnoticed,  kindess.   מזל טוב, mazel tov, Isaac!  May you survive the notoriety.

THE VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD

I want to thank tazeinmirzasaad for nominating me for the versatile blogger award. It is Tazeinmirzasaad who is amazing, versatile and ever the wonder.

Seven things about me:

I love God.

I love His good creation.

I love to praise His All Holy Name.

I love to write.

I love to pray.

I love the Holy Eucharist.

I love the Mass.

Again thank you.

Song of Salvation

Sing Lord,
To make of me a song,
Rising on the wind,
Spreading through the land.

By the movement of Your tune,
I proclaim Your Love.
By the rushing of Your Spirit,
Borne anew on hallowed wings,
I announce the Year of Favor.

O sweet divine encounter
With the Risen Lord
Make my melody
As pure as the heart of Jesus

Proclaim.
Reclaim. Reclaim.
Reclaim Your own.
Seat sons and daughters
Of Your Love
Upon Your Heart,
On Mercy throne.

Hide Me, Lord

Hide me, Lord
On the mountain
Of Your Love.
Place me in the cleft
Of the Rock.
Play for me
The music of silence.
Shelter me
From the storm and noise
Of the world.

Infant King Benign

O Infant King benign
I offer You the face
Of Mother Mary
As she gazed upon You
That very first time
Beholding long
Your holy countenance.

Her eyes, drinking in her Babe,
Her King, her Priest,
Her Son Divine,
Wept tears of joy,
And wonder,
In silent adoration,
Pondering comprehension.
She smiled in inward exultation.

You will never forget
Her look of love
As she gazed upon
Him, Who no earthly eye
Had seen,
A treasure for the world,
In her care,
To be wrapped
In lowly swaddling clothes
You, O Christ Child,
In Your humanity divine.
