Tea Party

A response  to Rick Santelli , it seems, is underway.  The American Freedom network writes:

Most of you have already seen the wonderful, passionate speech by Rick Santelli among the traders in Chicago today. He decries the way the Obama policies for mortgage support reward the “water drinkers” instead of those who carry the water. It is one of the most truly inspired speeches I have ever seen or heard, and well worth viewing if you value capitalism. I love how Santelli dismisses the traders are “putty in his hands”, but are real Americans who want to enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

Party Hardy!

Foundational Basics

Today is about more than hearts and flowers.  Everybody knows it’s crunch time for the U.S.A.  When things get really bad,  the American people have a way of getting back to basics.  The basics start with the foundational underpinnings of our Nation.  Ronald Reagan got it right!  Others, it seems, don’t like the founding fundamentals   They hope for changes that will create an America no one will recognize as America.    Texas Rainmaker and the Anchoress spell it out.

Reagan and Obama in their own words.

What Arrogance!

“Little tiny yes (yet?) porky amendments.  The American people really don’t care!”         WELL ….DO YA?

Tom Elia cares!   Here’s his response.

Krauthammer Setting the Record Straight

While the Iraq vote went on relatively quietly with hardly a cheer from the media, it is well worth noting that it is a credit not only to the Iraqi people and U.S. troops but also to the vision of President George W. Bush who had the nerve to stay the coarse.  President Obama let the event pass without fanfare but our people and country deserves more than that for democracy being hard won in the Middle East is a precious and rare commodity.

What President Obama did do is set himself up as the New Great Hope for U.S./Muslim politics as if the hand of diplomacy were never before persistently offered and American blood never shed for those beyond our borders.  Thank God and Charles Krauthammer for setting  the American record straight here in the face of anti-American naysayers and detractors.  In a few short, sweet and concise paragraphs,  he  gave credit were credit is due.  The truth is the best thing for this country and Obama owes that to us regardless of the image he wants to project to the world at large.  Thanks again, Mr. Krauthammer.
