Wrath of God, a Living Hell

The Wrath of God blazes forth
As left to myself,
I behold myself.
Where is His image in me?
What have I done ?

Where God is not,
Only Hell resides.
Life has become my agony,
With self-inflicted wounds.

Unchanging Purity of Being,
Fire of Love,
I, now, the antithesis,
Banishing God to the periphery
Holding Him at bay.
My kingdom, my way!

Sin rages in His absence,
A counterfeit of life,
For where the Creator is not,
There is only dissipation.
Creating nothing;
Loving no one,

I built a world apart,
Overruled His Plan,
Overturned His “Shalt Nots”
With tolerance and choice.
There is no compromise for Truth.
Sin is always a choice,
Or it is not sin.

The Wrath of God blazes forth.
Consumes the idol, self.
Now, to turn, to choose anew,
To turn again before the final hour,
While it is still Day,
No more to turn away!

So splendid a freedom is love
That it can not come to be
Without an altar,
And in the Fire of Love,
To sacrifice my “Me”.

The Martyr’s Heart

True to Thee
I want to be,
But, alas,
Sin holds me fast.

Haughty pride of life,
Fear and strife,
Conspire and dismay.
To ruthless havoc play.

Yet, sanctity
Is enmity.
In waters Life-giving You impart
To a sinner a martyr’s heart.

Deliverance Prayer

My Lord, Thou art all powerful, Thou art God, Thou art our Father. We beg Thee
through the intercession and help of the Archangels Sts. Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel for the deliverance of our brothers and sisters who are enslaved by the evil one. All Saints of Heaven, come to our aid.

From anxiety, sadness and obsessions – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord. From hatred, fornication, and envy – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord.

From thoughts of jealousy, rage, and death – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord. From every thought of suicide and abortion – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord. From every form of sinful sexuality – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord.

From every division in our family, and every harmful friendship – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord.

From every sort of spell, malefice, witchcraft, and every form of the occult – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord.

Thou who said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.” Grant that, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, we may be liberated from every demonic influence and enjoy Thy peace always. In the Name of Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Cleaning Up Your Act

I can only clean up your dirt,
If you give it to me.
Is it pride that stands in your way?
Think, then, of the filth in which you wallow.

Being prostrate in repentance,
Is in reality a rising,
A lifting of your head,
A step up, my man!

Really now, how proud can a man be,
Who is chained to their sin,
A slave in bondage to habit,
Following the crowd?

Mire and muck,
What trappings are these,
But for a prince of fools?
Fall on your knees to stand up!
