Michael of the Morning

King of All Nations

Mother Mary,
You were with Jesus
From the instant
Of His Incarnation.
With your "Fiat",
The Promise
Became a Man,
Dwelling with you,
In profound peace
And humility.

It was you
Who knew
This first intimacy,
Who cherished and adored.
Who waited upon Him,
With heart,
And mind,
And body.

The only eyes
That could see Him
At this tender age,
Were yours,
As you gazed on Him
With the eyes
Of your intellect
And soul.

An inward glance
Set your Immaculate Heart ablaze,
As you became,
Home and hearth,
And throne,
For a Child of one cell,
Destined to rule
The world,
As He had reigned
From eternity.

A Man like no other
And, yet,
Intimately,
One with all.

Open our eyes
To your Son.
With the Centurion,
Who presided
Over the Crucifixion
Of the Christ,
And opened His Side,
End our idolatry,
So we, too, cry
"My Lord and my God."

Mother Mary,
Behold your Son
In me.
Prepare me to be
Home and hearth
And throne,
For Christ alone.

It’s Sunday

Come Lord,

Feed Your Church;

It’s Sunday!

Command us,

“Rise” with You;

It’s Sunday!

Day of the Lord,

Day of Promise,

Day of supplication,

Day of fulfillment.

O Sunday!

Gathered with the Mother,

In the sunshine presence

Of celestial hosts,

Rejoicing with the Chosen,

Celebrate!
It’s Sunday.

The Outrageous Grace of Mercy Sunday

Jesus I Trust In You

Jesus revealed to St. Faustina that the Feast of Mercy would be a very special day when “all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened”. (Diary 699)

Jesus promised that “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain the complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.”(Diary 699) He went on to say “I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My Mercy.” (Diary 1109)

Jesus said to St. Faustina “I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this image with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You”. (Diary 327) “The two rays denote Blood and Water. The pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls. These two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the cross. …Happy is the one who will dwell in their shelter, for the just hand of God shall not lay hold of him.” (Diary 299)

Speaking of “Divine Mercy Sunday”, Jesus said “…tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon the souls who approach the Fount of My Mercy. On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet…. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy”. (Diary 699)

A Prayer Before Blogging

My God, I believe and I adore You.  Be ever before the eyes of my heart and mind that I may see You in all circumstances and look for You in those I meet today.  I place Your blood over my heart, before my lips and around my mind as I pray and before I venture forth into this day.  May Your good angels, and Your  saints assist me, especially in drawing my thoughts to You.   Be glorified, My Love, in the Church, in the world and in me.

And they all said…….AMEN!

Particular to this day:  May I remember that it’s Sunday and spend lots of time with You.  Amen
