Gathering His Chicks

Jesus is still gathering His chicks in a world bent on self rather than Salvation.  Jesus will never give up on us though.

Five Little Ducks

Five little ducks went out one day,
Over the hill and far away;
Mother duck said, “Quack, quack, quack, quack.”
But only four little ducks came back.

Four little ducks went out one day,
Over the hill and far away;
Mother duck said, “Quack, quack, quack, quack.”
But only three little ducks came back.

Three little ducks went out one day,
Over the hill and far away;
Mother duck said, “Quack, quack, quack, quack.”
But only two little ducks came back.

Two little ducks went out one day,
Over the hill and far away;
Mother duck said, “Quack, quack, quack, quack.”
But only one little duck came back.

One little duck went out one day,
Over the hill and far away;
Mother duck said, “Quack, quack, quack, quack.”
But none of the five little ducks came back.

Sad mother duck went out one day,
Over the hill and far away;
The sad mother duck said “Quack, quack, quack.”
And all of the five little ducks came back

“God, our Father, created a big and loving family in His Church. Jesus prays that we are one (John 17:21-23), as He and His father in heaven are one. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we wish to invite you to learn more about our family in faith: a Church filled with beauty, miracles, heroes, history, love and peace.” (Catholics Come Home)

“Love is a mutual self-giving that ends in self-recovery. You recover God, and He recovers you.”

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

A Great Prayer For Life

A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world. Through special initiatives and in daily prayer, may an impassioned plea rise to God, the Creator and lover of life, from every Christian community, from every group and association, from every family and from the heart of every believer.” – Pope John Paul II, The Gospel of Life (Evangelium Vitae), n. 100.

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

Unborn and Unwanted

In a universe replete with Space and Time and Bounty,

the Sign of the Times reads “No Room In The Inn.”

Conceived first in the Mind of God, and then in Mother’s womb.

There remains but little of  Time for you.

Come home to My Arms, O Little One.

Outside of  Time, in Mysterious Space,

My Angels will sing you a welcome.

Home, now, the Sonshine of Father’s Face.
