Bully-pulpiteer – President Obama Again

Now we can see the influence of bully-pulpiteer extraordinaire, Rev. Wright, come to full bloom in his protege. Those twenty years weren’t wasted on President Obama. While allegedly abusing power with Mafia finesse, President Obama denies the coercion.  President Obama is charged with forcing compliance and threatening his (our) country men with the full weight of the White House Press Core if they do not kow tow.

Michelle Malkin reports

Over the weekend, news broke about the Obama administration’s reported threatsunion-friendly Chrysler bankruptcy plan. against an investment firm that opposed its

Tom Lauria represents a few of the non-TARP Chrysler creditors. He reported the threats on WJR radio host Frank Beckmann’s radio show in Detroit:

This isn’t the shiny new transparent politics we were promised by campaigning Obama.  If it is true, it’s the go-for-the-jugular politics of the Chicago machine; down and dirty as it can be.  But Malkin is right: “The only surprise is that anyone is surprised. The coercion cow has been out of the barn for a while now.”

Eyes and ears anyone? Abrogating contractual right appears to be coming easy to Obama.

Who Is the Mystery Man In the White House? & What Will It Cost Us to Find Out?

I’m still can’t get beyond Bernard Goldberg’s “A Torrid Love Affair- The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media”; a must read for sheer horrendous incredibility.
Here’s some of the scary stuff that got us where we are today.  [My comments in brackets.]

Tom Brokaw appearing on the Charlie Rose Show a few days before the election:

Rose: I don’t know what Barak Obama’s world view is.

Brokaw: No.  I don’t either.

Rose: I don’t know how he really sees where China is.

Brokaw: We don’t know a lot about Barak Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy.

Rose: I don’t really know.  And do we know anything anout the people who are advising him?

Brokaw: You know that’s an interesting question.

Rose: He is principally known through his autobiography and through very aspirational speeches, two of them. [Count them folks, two of them!]

Brokaw: I don’t know what book’s he’s read.

Rose: What do we know about the heroes of Barak OBAMA?

Brokaw: There’s a lot about him we don’t know.

[Really?  And you are the journalistic elite whose job it is to investigate, discover and report without bias?]

Goldberg includes this by Rush Limbaugh after playing the Charlie Rose show tapes:

“These guys are looking at Obama and they’ve seen him the exact way we have, all of this time.  They only now, after they think they got him into office, are starting to talk about their fears, about how nobody knows anything about him; his resume is thin, he’s only written two books, and they’re autobiographies; we don’t know what books he’s read…We don’t know anything about him.  It’s creepy, never seen a victory speech with nobody on stage…Look at all that they refused to report.  They had plenty of chances to write editorials  at Newsweek magazine, and they didn’t write one reflective of what they really saw and know and fear about Obama.”

Goldberg states:

All this raises an important question: Who the hell did we just elect president of the United States?

[What’s trully sad, is that we are now finding out.]

Camelot for the Masses – “Obamalot”

According  to Hot Air, the Washington Times found “the motherload.” Says Hot Air, “While publicly identifying with the nation’s have-nots, the Obama administration has been cultivating the Beltway social elite behind the scenes.”

In the vernacular of the tax-paying masses, Obama’s hobb-nobbings are just another “loada’ __.” Obama seeks to ingratiate himself with high society despite the imprinted image of  just-plain-folk representing “the humble masses yearning to breath free.”  Not much free for the tax-paying middle class, while the air of  neo-Camelot-ary reigns in Obamalot.  While Obama reaches into our pockets, his “outreach to the luxury lifestyle glossies, which cater to the region’s highest socioeconomic strata with knowing coverage of everything from the choicest real estate and most exclusive parties to the plushest resorts and spas, is not the only recent evidence that the Obama administration is eager to forge ties with the nation’s social and style arbiters.”

Says Hot Air:

Charming the local (and not so local) power structure is good, smart politics, as is having dozens of interest groups aligned on your side coordinating their message with a daily phone call. And just as conservative groups could never get away with that without dark media insinuations about the “right-wing noise machine” building a wall of propaganda around the White House, George W. Bush could never have gotten away with holding a strategy session on how to glad-hand the D.C. glitterati while issuing near-hourly warnings about how we’re on the brink of Great Depression II. I can just picture the mocking nut-roots YouTube clips, destined to be recycled on “Hardball” and “Countdown”: First a quote from a story about Bush’s interest in socializing, then a clip of him and Laura dressed in finery and dancing at an inaugural ball as graphics about the market’s implosion and this year’s $1.75 trillion deficit roll merrily by. They’re … out of touch, you see. Exit question: Couldn’t the meeting have been postponed until, oh, say, after Geithner came up with a bank rescue plan and Treasury had been staffed? This isn’t going to reassure George Will or Tom Friedman about Obama’s ability to prioritize.

Update to “Im Mad As Hell And I’m not going to Take it Anymore!”

White House stirs the pot and Rick Santelli goes from simmer to steaming!

Hot Air answers Huffington Post’s question: “Why would Gibbs single out Santelli for a reply when conservative pundits have spent weeks dumping on the stimulus?”…   “Maybe it’s because of the huge play Drudge gave the story yesterday ?”
