World Turned Upside Down

Down,down,down, goes the economy!

Just in time to play into Obama’s power grab.   Says the Anchoress: “The president seems wholly untroubled by any of this and is happily continuing on toward the creation of “one world” with a global “new deal” on his mind. The swiftness with which he is accruing and consolidating power is breathtaking, and most people don’t even realize he’s doing it.”

Amen, Sister!

What is the puppet-master doing?  According to Saj-nicole A. Joni writing for Forbes.com:

“Great leaders know that significant opportunity lies in a world turned upside down.”

“It can be summed up in the phrase “Never waste a crisis.” When Rahm Emanuel, President-elect Barack Obama’s chief of staff, was quoted saying this in The New York Times, he articulated what is on the minds of many of the global business leaders…”

“Great” is not what I would call Obama.  “Audacious” fits!  And it’s not HOPE he’s selling this time.  He’s selling America down the river for a socialist dream; a Utopian dream that has never worked in this world.  Whether Obama is puppet-master or Pied-Piper, I can only ask, what has Congress been drinking?  Kool-Aid?!

Make Up and Make Nice

Rush Limbaugh, defensive and feisty, protagonist par excellence, goes on the offensive defensive criticizing Michael Steele, NRC chairman, for remarks he made plus some. Before it’s over, you’ll need a score card as everyone who thinks they’re anyone joins the fray.

Hot Air has this.

I don’t think Steele realized how his comments would play and Rush is in no mood these day for playing games or patsy.

Steele was quick to sort of  apologize. I for one hope it sticks.  Conservatives have a common enemy to engage with all that testosterone they’re now wasting on each other.

Wake Up and Pray

No one can  stop you from praying; not the liberals, the progressives,as they call themselves, not the brights, no government demagogue or Board of Education.  Wake up America!  God is waiting for an honest conversation.  Pray without ceasing…. and no less!  Who will stop your inner dialogue?  Who will monitor your thoughts?  Who will censor your constant bombardment of the Divine with the entreaty that His Will be done?

Do it, America! Your life depends on it.  Your children deserve it.  For your own sake, your God demands it. God is not an afterthought, waiting for you to solve your problems.  God is the prime-mover, the beginning and the end.

If my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my presence and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and revive their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

My Morning Prayer

son-of-justice1

If  Time and Space and all the created resist You, their Maker, let me be the void, a nothing, a nobody, empty as a vacuum, demanding Your entrance by Love if not by law.  Fill my space and time.  Topple my pride by Your Uncreated Presence. Now master chaotic waters and silence my current.  Still the fallen artistry of the proud “I, myself.”

Conqueror of all You survey, probe me, and finding me “all flaw”,  reign in Your handiwork, Oh Hearer of my prayer.  One person, one prayer, one poor heart’s entreaty; who can resist You or stand in the way of  Your advance?  My faith rests in Your infinity, your unending answer to trust.  Love transforms the Law by Covenant.  “The Lord sat enthrones over the flood; the Lord sits as King for ever.” (Psalm 29)
